On Wednesday morning in Illinois, a 4-year-old girl was accidently shot and killed by another kid.
Around 10 a.m., police and paramedics were summoned to the 2400 block of West Street in River Grove, according to WBBM. While they were inside a house, they discovered that the girl had been unintentionally shot by a different child.
The girl later passed away from her injuries; she was recognized as Camila Ariana Duarte by the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office.
Due to the fact that he was outside when the unintentional shooting occurred, the girl’s father immediately dialed 911. He is assisting the investigation, according to the police.
Given that he had both a valid Firearm Owners Identification card and a concealed carry permit, he acknowledged owning the involved gun. He claimed, however, that he stored the rifle in a closet on a high shelf.
