Alex Graham, a 20-year-old star of British ice hockey, has passed tragically.
The young man participated in the Elite League with the Sheffield Steelers.
He additionally competed for Great Britain at the Under-18 and Under-20 levels.
Graham made his Steelers debut as a teenager in 2019 and played 81 times for the team.
The forward had just signed his first contract with a company.
Although his death’s cause is unknown, it is not believed to be suspicious.
On its website, the club broke the tragic news.
The Steelers were shocked to learn that Alex Graham had passed away this past weekend, according to a statement.
“The news has devastated everyone at the club, and we want to send our sympathies to Alex’s family, friends, and teammates.
“Alex’s family would appreciate some time and space to process the gravity of this unfortunate circumstance in the coming days.
At this moment, the club won’t be commenting further.
Fans began to pay tribute, with one saying, “Hearts and thoughts with you all.”
