The famous Jung Joong Ji was a South Korean contestant and survival audition show and TV Personal who became known after joining Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2. Jeong Joong Ji passed away on September 9, just four days after turning thirty.

According to available reports, Jeong was not ill before his death. His mother announced his death on Twitter and revealed that Jeong Joong Ji committed suicide.
In the plays “Prison” and “The Essence of Love,” Jung Joon Ji played the lead role. He also competed in season 2 of Mnet’s “Produce 101” in 2017, however with 86,864 votes, he was ousted in 64th place.
During Produce 101, Joongji represented Wayz Company. However, he left the company in May 2017, during the show. Produce 101 continued to label him as a Wayz trainee. He eventually joined Think Technique as a trainee.
Wanna One is a K-pop boy band made up of Kang Daniel, Ong Seong-wu, Hwang Min-hyun, Ha Sung-woon, Kim Jae-hwan, Park Ji-hoon, Bae Jin-young, Lee Dae-hwi, Yoon Ji-sung, Park Woo-jin, and Lai Kuan-lin. It was created as a result of the second season of “Produce 101.”
During the show, sexual assault allegations were voiced against Joong Ji. He eventually released a public apology and the accuser deleted their SNS posts.
After the show, Joongji came forward, stating that there was some bullying behind the scenes during the show. He claimed that Wanna One’s Yoon Jisung had bullied him multiple times. He also stated that they had eventually made up during the show.
