Colonel James Hickey confirmed the death her husband after she posted on her Facebook timeline confirming her husband’s death.
As you may have heard, my beloved husband, Lieutenant Colonel James Hickey recently passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. As you can imagine, this has been a challenging time for me and the girls and it is such a difficult thing to post on social media.
I wish to thank all the well-wishers and I am sure you can understand that I cannot reply to everyone, so I will thank you here. The services will be at the Beechwood National Cemetery (280 Beechwood Avenue, Ottawa) starting with a public visitation at 11am and a military funeral ceremony at 1300hrs.
