In a Sunday double-fatality car accident on a bridge linking Iowa and Wisconsin, Luke Hackman of Decorah, Iowa, has been named as the victim. The second victim has been identified as Prairie du Chien resident Tracy Jo Larson.
Hackman, 36, and Larson, 44, perished in a two-vehicle collision near Crawford County, Wisconsin, early on Sunday.
According to sources, about 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, Hackman was driving a car and Larson was driving an SUV on Highway 18, which runs between Marquette, Iowa and Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin.
Larson and Hackman both perished as a result of collision injuries.
Brandi Hackman, Hackman’s wife, and the couple’s two kids were hurt, but not seriously.
Hackman launched a GoFundMe to assist family members with expenses.
The accident’s cause is still being looked into.
