Missing Samantha Kalinchuck Spokane Found Dead

A 17-year-old Spokane girl was the victim of a suspected homicide, according to deputies, whose body was discovered in Yakima County last month.

Samantha Kalinchuk was the deceased, according to KHQ, which cited Yakima County Coroner Jim Curtice.

A body was discovered on April 30 when a resident of the 600 block of Farm Lane in the Mabton area called the Yakima County Sheriff’s Office to report smelling something nasty on his property.

The girl died from a gunshot wound to the head, according to an autopsy performed the following day, according to the sheriff’s office. The death is being looked into by detectives as a homicide.
