The actor was born to Steven Smith and Renee Jackson-Smith in San Diego City, California, 28 years ago on June 18, 1994.

He was raised in Mesquite City, Texas, attended Dr. John D. Horn High School before quitting to enroll at Florida A&M University just after the first semester.
