Nexhmije Hoxha was an Albanian communist politician. She is best remembered as the wife of the 22nd Prime Minister of Albania, Enver Hoxha. After her husband's demise in 1985, Nexhmije Hoxha was made chairwoman of the Democratic Front of Albania. However, she was forced to resign from this position in 1990 and was replaced by Adil Çarçani.
